Developer Programmer

DyCom SmartStaff is looking for a Full Time Senior Developer/Programmer with at least 10 years of professional experience to join our team. We are looking for a meticulous and technically skilled Developer/ Programmer to develop our client’s website and software systems. The Developer /Programmer’s duties will include managing systems performance, providing tech support, reviewing, and updating existing programs, identifying and fixing defects, supporting data architecture, generating reports, developing in-house software, and mitigating potential risk. Your expertise in the craft of web development and programming will assist our organization in increasing efficiency and service through the construction, maintenance, and streamlining of our computing systems and programs.

Our ideal candidate must have experience with PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, MySQL, API’s (JSON, etc), WordPress and Drupal or other similar CMS.

Salary Range: $33 to $37 per hour

Requirements:

At least 10 years of work-related professional experience

Ability to review technical specifications and analyse client technical requirements/needs

Knows how to identify best approach to take in terms of programming language to use and database structure

Experience translating a static front-end into a fully functional website, using a CMS such as WordPress, Drupal or similar

Knowledge with PHP frameworks specially Code Igniter.

Knowledge of front-end technologies and platforms, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery.

Knowledge of MYSQL database

Experience working with API’s

An understanding of debugging in modern web browsers

Demonstrated experience in Responsive Web Development.

Ability to analyse, design, code, inspect, debug and test the user interface.

Coding standards and versioning tools like Git, etc.

Basic understanding of copying code to a production environment

Additional Skills:

Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate face to face with clients

Ability to lead a team and be a role model

Linux server knowledge and maintenance skills

Can direct and work with a group of Philippine-based staff

Can communicate in fluent Filipino to easily communicate and lead the team based in Philippines
